By accessing or using CareerBay ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Description of Services

CareerBay provides AI-powered career services including but not limited to:

  • LinkedIn profile reviews and optimization
  • Resume analysis and rewriting services
  • AI-generated career advice and interview preparation
  • One-on-one expert consultations
  • Other career development tools and resources

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Payments & Billing

  • Certain services require payment. All fees are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
  • Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider (Dodo Payments).
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect services already purchased.
  • You agree to pay all charges associated with your use of paid services.

5. AI-Generated Content

CareerBay uses artificial intelligence to generate career insights, profile reviews, and recommendations. Please note:

  • AI-generated content is provided as guidance and should not be considered as guaranteed career advice.
  • Results may vary based on individual circumstances, industry, and market conditions.
  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers, interview calls, or salary increases.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated suggestions before acting on them.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content, features, and functionality of the Platform (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by CareerBay and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, profiles, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a license to process and analyze it for the purpose of providing our services.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our Platform without prior written consent.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
  • Use automated tools to scrape or access the Platform without authorization
  • Share your account credentials with third parties

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerBay and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is harmful to our business interests.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in full effect.

10. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
